Our Approach to AI.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping how research and advisory work is conducted. As a consultancy operating at the front line of geopolitical analysis, we track that shift closely, and we believe our clients deserve transparency about how AI does and does not feature in our work.

Where we use AI

We use AI tools for administrative and editorial support: checking proposals for style, grammar and structure, and assisting with internal strategy, design layouts and branding. These are supporting functions only. Every proposal and internal template passes through human review and edit at each stage, from initial drafting to final design.

Analysts may use AI as a research aid, for example to speed up initial source gathering, but any AI-assisted research is checked at the source and reviewed by a senior analyst before it informs any conclusion.

Where we do not use AI

We do not use AI to write the analysis our clients pay for. No report, proposal, briefing or piece of client-facing research is drafted by AI, and no AI-generated view is ever presented as an analyst's own. Our judgement comes from analysts who are academically and professionally qualified in their fields, and we believe that judgement, not automation, is what our clients are buying.

We're also mindful of the broader costs of heavy AI use, environmental and otherwise, and we keep our use of these tools deliberately limited. Our focus remains on human-led support that helps clients make sound decisions in a fast-moving geopolitical landscape.
